What is a /me?​

The /me command is used to show what your character is doing, feeling, or displaying, especially when it can't be shown through animations. It helps make roleplay more immersive and realistic.

Basic Rules:​

• Always use third person (talk about your character, not "I" or "me").
• No need to include your character’s name — the command does that.
• Start with a lowercase letter and end with a period.
• Use clear grammar, punctuation, and be as descriptive as possible.
• No profanity or OOC terms/slang allowed.

Proper /me Examples:​

/me takes a cigarette from his jacket pocket and places it between his lips.
/me grabs a lighter from her back pocket and flicks it to ignite the flame.
/me pulls out his wallet and hands over a few bills to the cashier.
/me lifts heavy boxes from the truck and stacks them inside the warehouse.
/me raises his head to look at the woman as she explains the situation.

Powergaming Reminder:​

• You cannot force an outcome using /me.​

Example:​

/me punches the male and knocks him out.​

Instead:​

/me swings a punch toward the male's face.​

Common Mistakes & Fixes:​

Waiting for /me Reactions:​

If someone doesn’t respond to your /me after 30 seconds to 1 minute, remind them once. If there's still no reply, you may continue the action as successful (within reason).

What is a /do?​

The /do command is used to describe the environment, answer questions, or provide extra information about your character or the scene.

Basic Rules:​

• Use third person and start with a capital letter.
• No CAPS LOCK or profanity.
• Don’t lie in a /do (that’s powergaming).
• Never use /do to show actions or emotions.

Proper /do Examples:​

/do There would be bruising around his left eye and a busted lip.
/do Would the officer notice the smell of alcohol on the male?
/do A tattoo of a snake would be visible on her forearm.
/do What would the male find inside the glove compartment?
/do Yes, the male would be breathing but unconscious.

Improper /do Examples:​

Incorrect	Reasoning
/do BEAT HIM UP	All caps and inappropriate usage.
/do grabs wallet	This would be a /me, not a /do.
/do she looks mad	Describing feelings of a character would be a /me.
/do lies about gun in car	This is considered powergaming.
/do kills him	Forcing an outcome in a scene/character.

Waiting for /do Reactions:​

Always respond to a /do within 1-2 minutes of it being originally sent to avoid being reported for avoiding roleplay.

EMS Call Guide – /911ems Format​

/911ems Hello, my name is Jacob Reed. I’m at the intersection of King Drive and 45th. There’s an unconscious male lying in the middle of the sidewalk. He has a faint pulse. Please send EMS immediately.
/911ems Hi, my name is Angela Hayes. I’m at the basketball court in South Park. A teenager collapsed and isn’t responding. He’s breathing, but barely. Please send help.
/911ems My name is Marcus Lang. I found an injured female in the alley behind the gas station on 78th. She’s bleeding and needs urgent medical help.

Police Call Guide – /911 Format​

/911 My name is Tara James. I’m at Jefferson and 23rd Street. I just witnessed a robbery at the corner store. The suspect ran toward the alley behind the pharmacy wearing all black and a red backpack.
/911 My name is Elias Grant. I’m near Lincoln Park and was just in a car crash. The other driver refuses to share their information. No injuries. Please send an officer.
/911 My name is Naomi Ellis. A man has been following me for blocks near Elm Street. He’s yelling at me and has what looks like a gun in his waistband. I’m scared and hiding behind a dumpster.
